Green Globe: Le Puy du Fou is the first of the 15 largest French tourist sites to obtain the Green Globe environmental certification dedicated to the tourism and travel sector. Since 2012, the Puy du Fou has demonstrated its desire to raise awareness of environmental preservation among its visitors and to develop in accordance with the three pillars of sustainable development: environmental, economic and social.
Sustainable Entertainment: The label "Sustainable Entertainment: Responsible Emotion" aims to raise awareness of environmental and social issues in the leisure and culture sector. By committing to this approach since 2020, the Puy du Fou has positioned itself as a key player in ecological and social transitions.
Tourism and Disability: The Puy du Fou is committed to a quality approach targeted at accessibility to leisure activities and vacations for all. This mark guarantees that the Puy du Fou site is adapted to the needs of the disabled thanks to dedicated pictograms, that the services offered respect the regulations on accessibility and that the staff is aware of this and trained.
Certifications
Betterfly Tourism: Since 2019, the Puy du Fou is one of 150 hotels in France to have evaluated and communicated on the environmental footprint of 3 of its 5 hotels. This label is awarded based on four environmental indicators:
- the impact on the climate ;
- water consumption
- consumption of non-renewable resources (energy)
- the proportion of organic or eco-labeled products in the hotel's supplies
The calculation of the footprint takes into account all the hotel's equipment used for an overnight stay.
Ecocert: The Puy du Fou's market garden has been certified by Ecocert since 2018, which guarantees and enhances the compliance of social and environmental practices in its market garden activity.
