Entry to the shows in the Grand Parc

La Colporteuse

To help you get around the Grand Parc, we have two small trains called “Glaneuse” and “Colporteuse”. Priority is given to disabled visitors. Trains run approximately every 20 to 30 minutes between all stations in the Grand Parc. Please note that electric wheelchairs are not permitted on the trains.

The Cinéscénie Shuttle

On Cinéscénie evenings, disabled visitors can take advantage of a free shuttle bus service from the ticket gate to the seating area. There’s no need to worry about having a great evening!

Visitor Parking

Parking is free in all of Puy du Fou’s car parks. The various car parks open from an hour before the Grand Parc opens until an hour after it closes. Visitors who have booked to stay in Puy du Fou's hotels must park in the Cité Nocturne car parks. Follow signs to "La Cité Nocturne - Les Hôtels du Puy du Fou” when you arrive.

Camper Van Parking

There is a parking area reserved for camper vans, caravans and motor-homes. This area is free during the day, with charges for overnight parking from 1am - 7am (€7 per night). There are shuttle buses between the parking area and the Grand Parc each morning (9am & 9.30am) and evening (6.45pm & 7.30pm). The following services are available on site: drinking water, waste disposal and electriciy charging point (water token: €2 for 100 litres, electricity token €2 per 12-hour charge).

Getting to Puy du Fou (by car)

Puy du Fou is accessible via the A87 autoroute (junction 28). We are located 3¼ hours from Paris, 3 hours from Bordeaux, 2 hours from Poitiers, 1½ hours from La Baule, 1½ hours from La Rochelle, 1 hour from Les Sables d’Olonnes, 1 hour from Nantes and 1 hour from Angers. Getting to Puy du Fou (by train)

The closest station to Puy du Fou is Angers TGV. If you choose to come by train, this station can be reached from any of France’s major TGV routes, including from Paris, Marseille, Strasbourg and Lille. There is a shuttle bus from Angers TGV station to Puy du Fou. Tickets cost €20 per person (single) and €28 per person (return) and must be booked in advance. Cinéscénie starts at 10.30pm in June/July and at 10pm in August/September. You are requested to arrive 1 hour before the start of the show. The production lasts 1 hour 40 minutes.

The gates of the Grand Parc open at 10am. The Grand Parc is open from 10am – 7pm during the yellow season, and from 10am – 10.30pm during the green season (inclusive of the evening show “Les Orgues de Feu”). During blue season (with Cinéscénie show), it is open from 10am – 9pm.

Boarding Kennels

Pets are not allowed in Puy du Fou. Boarding kennels are available to look after them while you visit. Only dogs who have been tattooed or chipped are accepted. We recommend booking in advance as the number of places is limited. Rest assured that kennel staff are fully committed to animal welfare, and provide the same level of care as that given to Puy du Fou’s 1,500 animals.

All shows at Puy du Fou are designed to be performed whatever the weather. Therefore, all shows will take place if it rains. There are also many indoor shows, such as "Mousquetaire de Richelieu", "L'Odyssée du Puy du Fou", "La Renaissance du Château", “Les Amoureux de Verdun" and "Le Dernier Panache", where you can shelter from either bad weather or heat.

When the temperature rises, you will need to take the usual precautions. But if you need to shelter from the heat, our ancient forest is a wonderful place to go. You may also appreciate the cool mists produced by the giant sprinklers that are found in various places in the Grand Parc, the shaded areas and our air-conditioned auditoriums.

Disabled visitors can use the ‘Disabled’ entrances for the various shows. When you arrive at each show, please contact a member of our reception and security team. For your comfort, we advise you to arrive 30 minutes before the time indicated in the day's Visitor Guide. There are reserved spaces in all our main shows. These spaces are primarily for wheelchair users, or visitors with reduced mobility who are unable to climb the stairs. One person is permitted to accompany the disabled visitor. This number can rise (up to 5 people) according to availabilities during the performances.

Access to the historical villages

Le Bourg 1900: all the shops in the Bourg 1900 have disabled access. Le Village XVIIIème: It is easy to get around the Village XVIIIème, but some of the craft shops can be difficult to access. La Cité Médiévale: access is difficult due to steep slopes. We recommend either taking the white route shown on the map (page 9 in the Accessibility Guide) or one of the little trains. Recommended stop: Gare des Vikings. Le Fort de l’An Mil: we recommend using the entrances close to the fast food outlet Fort de l’An Mil “M”, to avoid the steepest slopes.

Classic rooms in Puy du Fou hotels can accommodate up to 5 people (at least one of which must be an adult). Beds are as follows: 1 double bed (160cm x 200cm), 1 set of bunk beds (80cm x 190cm) and 1 small single bed (70cm x 180cm). A cot can also be added on request. Wi-Fi is available in the reception areas, restaurants and rooms of our themed hotels.

Pets are not allowed in Puy du Fou. Boarding kennels are available to look after them while you visit. Only dogs who have been tattooed or chipped are accepted. Camper Van Parking

There is a parking area reserved for camper vans, caravans and motor-homes. This area is free during the day, with charges for overnight parking from 1am - 7am (€7 per night). There are shuttle buses between the parking area and the Grand Parc each morning (9am & 9.30am) and evening (6.45pm & 7.30pm). The following services are available on site: drinking water, waste disposal and electriciy charging point (water token: €2 for 100 litres, electricity token €2 per 12-hour charge).

Getting to Puy du Fou (by train)


The closest station to Puy du Fou is Angers TGV. If you choose to come by train, this station can be reached from any of France’s major TGV routes, including from Paris, Marseille, Strasbourg and Lille. There is a shuttle bus from Angers TGV station to Puy du Fou. Tickets cost €20 per person (single) and €28 per person (return) and must be booked in advance.
